This is a great desktop gadget. I used to keep a large magnifying glass (with a handle - not lighted) in my desk drawer. Now, this looks so great, I can keep it out all the time. It's larger than I thought it would be - diameter-wise, but that's not a problem since it magnifies a much larger surface area. The LED illumination is superb and the magnification is perfect. I ended up getting my wife one for her desk too!
